Laurence Muir
Laurence has over seven years of experience as a Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer and is a Kinesiology instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. He works with a variety of populations, ranging from young athletes to seniors wanting to stay fit and maintain independence, offering both active rehabilitation and strength & conditioning. He takes an enthusiastic approach to training, bringing to light the joy and thrill of pursuing difficult, yet attainable goals at the edge of your ability.
Laurence played basketball for many years and now explores a wide variety of physical activities such as longboarding, running, cycling, and even Spartan Ultra races and Parkour. In 2019, he completed Ironman Canada in Whistler with no prior triathlon or swimming experience to feel the pure joy of physical exertion and to further his understanding of endurance training and nutrition
